Refund policy

When we return a payment, what the insurance and the customs adjustment coverage cover, and how to file a request.

Last updated: October 6, 2026

Duplicate or mistaken charges

If we charge you twice for the same guide or an amount different from your invoice, we return the full difference. If your bank declines the transaction, no charge is made.

Total loss of the box

All shipments travel with mandatory insurance that covers the total loss of the box for the insured value. The insurance does not cover partial loss of the contents or losses caused by seizures or customs violations.

Customs charges

If you purchased customs adjustment coverage, customs charges are covered up to the amount of the rate you chose. It applies only to goods for personal use, with a maximum of 6 items of the same category per box. If customs determines that the box does not meet those conditions or exceeds the covered value, the coverage does not apply and the taxes are the customer’s responsibility.

Delays

Delivery times are estimates. Summa Envíos is not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities.

Other requests

Any other refund request (for example, cancelling a shipment that has not been dispatched yet) is reviewed case by case. Write to us and we will reply with the decision and the reason for it.

How to request a refund or file a claim

Write to us from the Contact page with your guide number, the email you paid with and a description of what happened. We may ask for supporting documents, such as the purchase invoice for the items.

How the money is returned

Approved refunds are returned to the same payment method you used. How long it takes to show up depends on PayPal and your bank.

Your rights as a consumer

This policy does not limit the rights granted to you by the consumer protection law of your country.
