Who we are
The service is provided by Summa Investments LLC, doing business as Summa Envíos, located at 2511 NE 19th Ave Apt 2, Lighthouse Point, FL 33064, United States, with its warehouse in Miami, Florida. By booking a shipment, paying a guide or using the customer portal you accept these terms.
Service conditions
Summa Envíos acts as a logistics agent to transport goods from the United States to Latin America under the applicable laws. The service includes reception in Miami, documentation, international transport and final delivery at the destination stated in our rates.
What you can ship
Only goods for personal, non-commercial use are transported, with a maximum of 6 items of the same category per box. Prohibited items and country-specific restrictions are published in the FAQ; that list is not exhaustive, and we also do not transport anything whose shipment is prohibited by the law of the origin or destination country. If you are unsure about an item, ask us before shipping it.
You are responsible for accurately declaring the contents and value of the box. An incomplete or incorrect declaration can cause holds, customs charges or the loss of coverage.
Rates and payments
Rates must be paid before dispatch. Variations due to weight or additional taxes will be notified before delivery.
Delivery times
Published delivery times are estimates, not a guarantee. They can be extended by customs processes, logistics conditions or causes beyond Summa Envíos’ control.
Customs
Shipments are subject to inspection and decisions by the customs authorities of the destination country. Customs adjustment coverage, when you purchase it, applies up to the amount of the rate you chose and only to goods for personal use.
Liability
Summa Envíos’ liability is limited to the declared value and the terms of the purchased insurance. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities.
Refunds and claims
Refund conditions and how to file a claim are in the Refund policy, linked at the bottom of every page.
Customer portal
If you have a portal account, you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for what the team users you create do. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
Personal shoppers
Personal shoppers that open an account in the portal accept, in addition to these terms, the Terms and conditions for personal shoppers, linked at the bottom of every page.
Payment security
All credit or debit card transactions are processed through PayPal and Apple Pay. Summa Envíos does not store or handle full card data.
Privacy
How we handle your personal data is described in the Privacy policy and the Cookie policy, linked at the bottom of every page.
