Frequently asked questions

Key information about timelines, insurance and support from Summa Envíos.

Before your first shipment

Will I be charged something extra when the box arrives?

No: you pay your per-pound rate and insurance before dispatch, with no hidden fees. If you choose adjustment coverage, customs charges are protected up to your rate's limit ($200, $300 or $800). What you quote is what you pay.

What happens if my box gets lost on the way?

Every shipment travels with mandatory insurance that covers the total loss of the box. Real-time tracking also shows you where it is at every stage. Your shipment never travels without backup.

How do I know I can trust you if I pay upfront?

Payments are processed by PCI DSS-certified providers (PayPal and Apple Pay) and we never store your card details. From the moment your box enters our warehouse you get a trackable shipment number. Transparency is part of the service.

How long until my box arrives?

Estimated delivery is 7 to 9 business days, because all our shipments travel by air. If customs extends the process, tracking and our team keep you informed. You are never left wondering where your box is.

Can I ship whatever I want in my box?

You can ship personal-use items, with a maximum of 6 items of the same category per box. There are only a few prohibited exceptions, such as medications, dog food and used vehicle parts. If you are unsure about an item, write to us and we will confirm before you buy.

What if customs charges me taxes or adjustments?

That is exactly what adjustment coverage is for: you choose protection of up to $200, $300 or $800 depending on your per-pound rate. It applies to personal-use shipments, so there are no VAT surprises or unexpected charges. Ship with peace of mind — that is what we are here for.
